Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy should be repeated.

Detailed Answer:
As it seems bleeding is quite intense and blood is also mixed with stool, something else than hemorrhoids can be the reason. So colonoscopy is what you should have done at first.

I am a 19 year old female with chronic digestive issues. I have had them for the past 4-5 years. I get bloated and distended every time i eat. it feels like there is a giant growing bowling ball in my stomach. It makes my back hurt and i can t stand up straight. I m basically out after I eat because i feel so awful all i can stand to do is sit down. i try to avoid eating during the day so that i can go about my day. I wake up in the morning and feel like i have not digested my food. i feel constipated/not able to fully clean myself out. My colon aches! I have had a colonoscopy and endoscopy which were fine. I have been on miralax for two years (2 scoops a day) and its not really helping anymore... I have had two parasites in the past four years (fragilis and giardia). The first i got in vietnam, the second backpacking. I feel awful and I have been so EXHAUSTED! My eyes burn/hurt and i have no energy at all! It is getting worse and worse.

today, my mother had a colonoscopy performed...however, they could not complete it because the dr. punctured a hole in her colon and emergency surgery had to be performed to close the hole...she is now in icu and will have to have a bag for a few months... she is an endometrial cancer survivor (surgery jan 2001...radiation only)... this past fri (6/25/10), an upper endoscopy was performed bcuz she had internal bleeding and they were trying to find the source...when they couldn t find anything from the upper endoscopy, they decided to do the colonoscopy which was not completed due to the puncture...your comments please...

Hi Sir, I have been suffering from severe stomach pain for the past 4 years. Almost all the procedures were donewhich include endoscopy, ultrasound of all the internal organs and even colonoscopy. No specialist was able to identify wat the problem exactly was so they termed it as IBS(irritable bowel syndrome). Two years ago thepain was so severe that it made an adult male cry. Now its tolerable but it hadnt stopped. And the freqeuncy still remains the same once a month. Why does it come? When it comes i will get some initial sensation that its going to come today. Once the pain starts there is nothing that can stop it for 9-10 hrs. It will get severe and then subside.Currently iam using buscospasm just one tablet when it comes. is there anyway that i can be pain free? People have suggested that it may be due to stress. But believe me i dont feel any stress. i dont have any personal or emotional problems. I am completely healthy otherwise. Please Help.
