What Does Cord Around Neck Of Foetus Indicate?
Question: my wife is 35 week pregnant
Today's scan report i have attached which shown a single loop of cord partially and encircling around neck
What does mean ?
Is any thing to worry ?
Due to this normal dilvery won't possible ??
Due to this chance of early Dilvery ???
Please help us

i saw your reports
in my opinion cord around the neck is routinely seen at term ultra sound.
They are of many times
1.partial cord around neck
2.tight cord around neck
3.two to multiple loops around neck
in above mentioned types partial cord is having a favorable prognosis and in other two conditions normal pregnancy will be delayed or obstructed.in such cases doctor might advise you to go for other alternatives like C-section.
in your condition it might not be a problem because it is only a partial cord.
during delivery this kind of partial cord will not cause any problem.
i suggest you to monitor fetal movements and take rest.
keep your mind relaxed because having relaxed mind is very important for normal delivery.
