Question: if a complex ovarion cyst measures 38×30×25 and contains a septum and some vascularity within the septum what does that means

Complex ovarian cyst is a very rare condition but mostly they are BENIGN in nature and not related to normal menstrual cycle. Risk of malignancy is around 0.3% among postmenopausal women. This type of cyst contains both solid and liquid substance and therefore, they are called as Complex cyst. In your case, size of cyst is quite small (38 x 30 x 25 mm). There are three types of complex ovarian cysts: Dermoid cysts, Cystadenomas, and Endometriomas. Kindly, upload your last ultrasound scan to assist you better and give proper guideline.
