What Does An Epididymal Cyst On Testicle Indicate?

default
Posted on Fri, 30 May 2014
Question: sir, I have been diagnosed of having an epididymal cyst on the left testicle. It is there since about 11/12 years but I was neglecting it because it is painless but when I came to know about testicular cancer then I went to a local urologist in last September and he first said that it is a harmless cyst and later confirmed it by ultrasound. The report has been attached with this. Now I don't have any problem regarding it. But before 3/4 days while I was travelling by a bike I felt a slight pain in my right testicle(the cyst is on left testicle). Particularly when the bike was falling in a jerk a bit more pain was there. Then I stooped and passed the urine. Then after some time the pain decreased and lastly disappeared. Sir is it anything serious like cancer or it is a normal thing ? Was there anything or any fluid in scrotum or testicle which passed by urine ??? Please help me.

Brief Answer:
Epididymal Cyst is a benign Cyst.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been diagnosed to have Epididymal Cyst since last 12 years.

Please note that Epididymal cyst is a benign cyst and does not need any treatment..It is not cancerous cyst and need not worry about it at all..

The pain in Rt testicle could be due to trivial injury to Rt testicle while riding on a bike which got resolved within a short period of time without any treatment hence needs no serious thought about it

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Brief Answer:
Nothing from the scrotum passes through urine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up.
There is nothing in scrotum that passes through urine at any time.It could be a coincidence that pain subsided after passing urine.

Occasional pain in testicle is insignificant and need not to be worried at all.
It is not sign of testicular cancer or any other cancer. The main symptom of cancer of the testicle is huge and hard swelling of the testicle .
Thanks and Regards.
