Question: Hi, I have done few blood test today and it seems Cholestrol , Urea and SGPT tests are not on normal range. Please find the test details below. kindly let me know if there is any major issue Plasma Glucose (fasting) : 88mg/dl Urea : 16 mg/dl creatinine : 0.8 mg/dl LFT::: Total Bilirubin:0.6 mg/dl Conjugated Bilirubin : 0.1 mg/dl UnConjugated Bilirubin: 0.5 mg/dl SGOT:33 U/L SGPT: 86 U/L Total Protin: 7.7 g/dL albumin 4.8 g/dL Globulin 2.9 g/dL A:G Ratio: 1.6 Alkaline Phosphate: 87 U/L LIPID PROFILE::: Total cholestrol : 254 mg/dL Triglycerides 350 mg/dL HDL cholestrol : 35 mg/dL LDL cholestrol : 149 mg/dL VLDL cholestrol : 70 mg/dL CBC::: Haemoglobin:14.2 gm. % RBC: 4.51 Platelet: 250 Total leucocytes: 8300 per cmm Differential Count:: Neutrophils: 57 % Lymphocytes: 40 % Monocytes: 01 % Eosinophils: 02% Basophil: 00 % ESR:: 50 mm Thanks XXXXXXX

Dear Dr XXXXXXX Thanks for answering my query. I will consult a cardiologist. apart from cholesterol , Urea and SGPT are also abnormal range. do I need to take care of these two as well. are these two number indicate any other problem in my system. Thanks XXXXXXX

You need to take medications given by a cardiologist after doing further heart specific tests like ECG, echocardiography and cardiac enzymes.
