What Does A Negative Home Pregnancy Test After IUI Procedure Indicate?

Question: I have undergone IUI cycle and today is day 42 of my menstrual cycle. Home pregnancy test has been done twice and both were negative. And moreover no symptoms of pregnancy in recent days. Now we are planning for blood test. Could you please suggest if the blood test goes negative, then there is no hopes in this cycle ?

Hi greetings,

I am extremely sorry to say this.I can understand your situation. But since you have completed more than 40 days and urine pregnancy test is negative you can do blood hCG hormone analysis. If it is negative your IUI was not successful. But don't loose hope.
IUI has to be done consecutively 4 times. Then only we can get 20 to 30 % positive pregnancy.
So don't loose hope. If you can send me yours and husbands reports I can guide you.
