Question: hello. I have a bump on my vaginal area that has been there for a few months. it feels like a grain of sand when touched. there is no pain associated. I'm curious as to what this is. it doesn't seem to have the characteristics of a wart at all. o have attached a picture. thanks!

Brief Answer:
bartholin cyst

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for consulting health care magic.

With the description that you have given , that its a small lump on vaginal wall , painless and like a grain of sand. the description fits the diagnosis of BARTHOLIN'S CYST.
this is a benign collection of bartholin gland secretion due to duct obstruction which open in the vestibule area. it can be surgically marsupialized when symptomatic and causing difficulty during intercourse or large enough to cause pressure symptoms.
its not a wart. nothing needs to be done presently for it as it is too small to cause any symptom and it is not an std .
so rest assured.
