What Does Microalbumin Level Of 68 Indicate?
Microalbumin up to 30 mgis considered to be normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .
Normally in a healthy individual 30 mg of Microalbumin is excreted in urine in 24 hours .However there can be transient rise in Microalbumin levels in certain conditions like fever ,UTI ,diabetes ,hypertension ,high protein intake etc
If the level of Microalbumin is persistently higher than 300 mg it strongly suggests kidney disease and needs to be investigated further by doing Renal function tests to rule out chronic Renal Paranchymal disease .
Consult qualified Nephrologist for evaluation and further investigations .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
