Hi,

IgG titers to HSV 2 means you had had herpes type 2 before. What tell us is you have an active infection is IgM. If this were measured,, please report it to me. IgG does not say whether you have the infection now or whether you can transmit it to others. However, if you have no active sores, then it happened sometime in the past and you are not infectious now.

Please, what motivated testing and do you have any sores right now?
