Brief Answer: most probably Leucoderma or vitiligo Detailed Answer: Hello friend, Thank you for posting your query through Healthcare magic. Your present complaint of white patches on your neck and head are most probably Leucoderma or vitiligo. This is produced because of the absence of melanin pigments in the affected area. Melanin is a skin pigment which is produced in the skin by the stimulation of a hormone called Melanocyte stimulating hormone (MSH) produced from the pituitary gland of brain. The affection of the brain now is because of the suppressive treatment that you are undergoing for your Hypothyroidism. The affection of pancreas producing diabetes, hypothyroidism, vitiligo etc. are all your constitutional problems developed at this age due to your genetic peculiarities. The present method of allopathic treatment that you are following by applying steroids or taking thyronorm is not going to help you to cure your genetic and constitutional problems. It is unscientific to think about individual diseases you are suffering like hypothyroidism, vitiligo, diabetes etc as unconnected and trying to cure each of the diseases by different medications. All these diseases are interconnected because all of them are occurring in your single body. Your present body is made up of the primordial half cell of your father and half cell of your mother, which later developed into the present body of trillions of cells containing the same genetic materials you inherited from your parents. We Homoeopaths study YOU, your genetics, constitution, your life situations, your individualistic reactions to the life situations -both physical and mental- in order to cure you. Once YOU are cured all your diseases will be cured and you will be converted back to permanent health. You have to stop your external application of steroid cream, thyronorm and any other antidiabetic drug. If you are interested to take Homoeopathic treatment, get back to me at the earliest by direct question facility or follow up question facility of Health care magic . I will then send to you a case taking format in which you can develop your case and forward it to me. Then I will prescribe your genetic and constitutional remedy. Homoeopathy will cure you rapidly and permanently. With best wishes, Dr C. J. Varghese Homoeopath

Follow-up: What do white patch on the face indicate? 10 days later
thanks for the concern, 1)but i think from earlier mail it was misdiagnosed with diabetic . i am potential diabetic which means that disease runs in my family and i may have this later in life. 2) stopping all the medication all together may cause some problem to occur in my body because of which i have started the medication. 3) as far as leucoderma is considered. to elaborate in this topic, i was suffering from these patches past from 2 years which exactly means that each year during the winter it get appear in the head and neck area but other part of body remain unaffected. 4) please suggest me proper medication plan for hypothyroidism and leucoderma and how to proceed with that medication? presently my values for TSH is normal(with 100 mg thyronorm) 5) what all food i need to stop/continue. regards, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer: Hello XXXXXXX Thank you for the mail. Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX I have sufficiently explained our approach of Homoeopathy in a case like yours . We do not treat your individual diseases. You need not worry about the outcome of stopping allopathic medications for your individual disease conditions. Almost all difficult cases that come to us for treatment are of that category. With right Homoeopathic remedy, you can stop those drugs. I am hereby attaching a case taking format as I had promised in my last answer. You can take sufficient time to elaborate your case and send it to me. Your life situations, your mental and physical constitutional features and genetic tendencies should be elaborated. After studying your case I will prescribe your constitutional remedy.
