What Do Water Cysts On Breast Indicate?
Question: I have several small water cysts in both my breasts.iam 42 years and mri shows water cysts.Iam taking evion 400 2 times a day.but at times I have pricking pain in any of the breasts and that breast feels heavy then.after a day or two it disappears.pls suggest whether I should worry or should change my medicine

As per your symptoms ,you probably seem to have fibrocystic disease of the breast.
This is a very common disease in many women due to the hormonal imbalances .
The fluid inside the cysts tend to fluctuate over the menstrual cycle.It disappears once only to reappear later.
There is not much to panic in your case.
The basic management involves the use of drugs like NSAIDS like Ibuprofen,using supportive bras,avoiding caffeine chocolate and tea.
Oral Contraceptive pills will help in few cases to control this disease.
Serial Ultrasound Exam(not MRI) of the breast will help to detect any new changes.
Occasionally removing fluid from the cysts through Fine needle aspiration will help in some cases.
Finally I conclude that you need not worry,but do change your medications as Vit E is alone not enough.

Dear doctor thank you. But please suggest medicines if not vit e. For some other patient in your site doctors have advised epo.but no mediciine available in that Name.pls suggest and advice
