Brief Answer:
Rule out autoimmune hepatitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello there

Thank you for asking to HCM.

GGT level is higher than normal .It indicates that your liver injury is chronic(i.e with inflammation and/or patchy fibrosis even)

Alkaline phosphatase value also is high enough to suspect the compromised liver function(I.e biliary tracts from where bile juice is dispersed to the gut)

I would suggest to visit a medical gastro enterologist who can examine you thoroughly and with few investigations like CT abdomen,MRCP,liver biopsy if need be and can find the extent to which liver is injured.

Avoid alcohol if you consume, also oily/friedfoods,OTC drugs without prior consult etc in meantime.

Hope this helps. If any doubts, please feel free to ask

Thank you, Doctor. I went off Methotrexate two weeks ago and had another blood test today. I will see my GP when results come through. I will follow your advice re alcohol, fried foods etc. hopefully a Specialist Enterologist can give more answers. Thank you for your help.XXXXX

Thank you for your feedback

Detailed Answer:
Hai again

The methotrexate drug course at that time could also be a reason for raised liver parameters. You may also update me the reports if wish for a second opinion
