What do these EKG results indicate?

Posted on Sat, 5 Aug 2017 in Hypertension and Heart Disease
Question: I just received my EKG results from my cardiologist and the report says consider anteroseptal myocardial damage Unconfirmed report. QRS(t) Contour abnormality. I had an eco done yesterday and the ekg. My doctor stated that everything is fine but am still concerned. I had a nuclear test done and everything was fine almost two years ago. Any feedback that you can provide?

Thank you,

I just submitted my EKG and wanted to know if a doctor had the opportunity to review the report.

Detailed Answer:

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully reviewed your uploaded ECG and would explain that it is quite normal, without any signs of antero-septal myocardial damage.

Those little changes have no clinical significance and are related to the ECG machine, but do not indicate any cardiac disorders.

Your normal cardiac ultrasound is another argument that excludes any myocardial damage in this region.

So, just relax and don't worry about it!

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
