Brief Answer:
Looks like ring worm - I have a few questions

Detailed Answer:
Hi...This looks like ring worm infestation. Nothing to worry. This doesn't look like allergy.

I have a few questions for you -

1. Are the lesions itchy - is the kid trying to scratch or irritable?
2. Are any other family members having similar lesions now?
3. Which part of the body is the photograph?
4. Is this occurring first time or is it a recurrence?

Ringworm commonly affects arms and legs, but it can appear almost anywhere on the body. Ringworm is not caused by worms. It is a superficial fungal infection, called "tinea".

This is not a serious fungal infection. It is amenable to treatment easily. But is is contagious and easily spread. It can be easily treated by using antifungal creams, tablets or shampoo.

Terbinafine and griseofulvin or Itraconazole tablets can be used to treat ringworm infections. BUT THESE ARE PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND YOU WILL NEED ONE FOR IT.
