Question: My father is approching 81 years hs sucessfully came through a lung cancer surgery to his right lung: The top lobe was removed as a precaution: He has traveled a cosderable journey on bus and since was vomiting and suffering diaohera: His temperture was high and todqy the vomiting and dihohera has subsided: Todqy for the first time I noticed approximately 10 smqll purple coloured spots on his skin. These spots are not painful to touch and my father has not complained of any reaction to the presence of the the spots. At largest the spots are the size of a freckle and at smallest the size of a pin head. He travels home tomorrow from France to Northern Ireland; My Father is fully aware of his surroundings and only complains of flu type symptoms: In terms of medicine he is on daily single talet doses for his post recovery treatment. To outstqnding legacy of his surgery is a delicate stomach. He suffers greatly from wind. It is over a year since surgery and his many scans and consultant examinations prove to show him clear of any cancer. Neither the consultants or my fathers General Practitioner show concern. My Father has been suffering flu type symptons for aproximately 36 hours. I hqve beeen at his bed side the entire time ensuring the regular intake of Fluids. He Recieved a light breakfast of cornflakes and milk which he accepted. He has not vomited or suffered diahorea since this food. His temperture has dropped, he seems slightly better to me. He continues to be fully responsive between passages of sleep.

Brief Answer:
question not clear

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

You gave a very good history, but your query is not clear. You said he has spots on skin. They might be due to allergy. If they are present since a long time and cherry red then they might be capillary hemangiomas. None of these are of concern.

If you can ulpoad a photo of the lesions, I will be better able to help.

Good to hear that your father is free of cancer. Also good to hear he is recovering from his viral illness.

Regards
