Brief Answer:
Tests need to be done

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking Healthcaremagic.

I am Dr.Endri Katro and I will be answering at your questions.
For some women,it is normal to feel these "cysts" during periods. These "cysts" are normal breast tissue.

Now according to the lump that you describe on your upper breast, that moves and persists, farther tests need to be done to determine its nature.
Usually cancer don't moves, but stays at the same place. No one can be sure about the nature without the tests.

There are a lot of other reasons for a patients to have a lump in the breast like benign cyst, lipoma, fibroadenomas ec.

Most breast lumps are benign so you don't worry.

You should consult your OB/GYN and do these tests. Your doctor will decide which of these tests you need to do.
-ultrasound of your breasts. it is one of the best exams to determine the nature of the lump
-mamography -with the ultrasound of your breasts every doctor will be sure for the nature of the lump
-fine needle aspiration biopsy will determine if it is benign or malign. usually this procedure is done if the doctor is suspicios for its nature
-physical exam by your doctor to "feel" the lump

If you have any other question, don't hesitate to contact me.

Wish you good health.
