Brief Answer:
Serum iron profile

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Your hemoglobin is bit low with low RBC count which suggests low production in bone marrow. Low hemoglobin can explain high ESR as well. Commonly this is due to iron deficiency. You are on iron but still I would suggest getting a serum iron, TIBC and ferritin to be sure.

If oral iron is not sufficient, you can take injectable iron.

Hope this helps.

I am a 23 year old female, 130lbs, and am in what I consider to be good health. I have had frequent nosebleeds since a very young age (probably started at around 13yrs). I have been tested, on numerous occasions, for anemia and iron deficiency, with no sign of either condition. For the last year I have been experiencing an increase in nosebleed frequency, accompanied by lightheadedness and often nausea as well. These symptoms are most frequent in the morning, but also occur at other hours of the day. If I am tired or up late, I was almost always have a nosebleed. They do not last near as long as they did when I was younger (only a few minutes) but the headache and nausea will often persist for a few hours, sometimes a full day. I have mentioned these problems to numerous physicians, with no solution offered other than cauterizing the internal nose tissue. I feel that this solution is not adequate, as it would only address one symptom, rather than the unknown cause. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I m suffering from hair loss and almost zero growth from past 3- 4 years. I had been to doctor regarding the same, he suggested me to use Germane Scalp Wash shampoo, and 1 gel also. He says I m suffering from Iron deficiency and for that too, he gave me iron tablets, but above all these, there is no much hair growth observed, I feel very very insecure. Can you please suggest me a medicine for hair growth?
