for about 4 months now, I have been feeling off. it first started after I got off my birth control pill, I started feeling hot daily, for a while on and off. I still get the sensations of feeling hot some days. I have had a lot of blood work done and ct scans of chest, pelvis and sinus. all clear. I have had endoscopy and colonoscopy, all clear except that I have ulceration in my stomach, so doc said I have gastritis. I have had a mammography which was clear. I have seen quite a few doctors. I have attached some blood work for your review. my new symptoms are feeling dizzy, headaches, feeling hot on and off, or feeling cold, tired, and terrible muscle pain above my breasts on both sides on my chest, and under arm pain. please tell me what I can expect of this. I need to find some relief. the birth control pills that I stopped at the end of dec I was on for 10 years prior with no break. i started a new pill thinking it would help about one month ago, but it didn't so i stopped that as well.i have been off the pill for about 3 weeks now, since i started the other one. your help is much appreciated. thanks
I recently had blood work done to check for allergies and my wbc was 3.7. I know this was normal per lab, 3.4-10, but the lowest I have seen them! I did get this blood in the morning opposed to my other blood tests which were done in the afternoon. I also have burning sensations throughout my body, but focuses more on my back. waiting on your post back. blood work attached. thanks!

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in again.
During our last conversation, we arrived at the conclusion that it was best to consult your Rheumatologist and initiate treatment for fibromyalgia, so that atleast one problem is taken care of .
Have you followed up on that ?
The WBC count is normal, and it does fluctuate due to various reasons - stress, sleep, weather, time of the day etc.
As long as it is in the normal range, you should not worry.
PPIs too might inhibit them, if you have been taking them for a long time.
You can repeat the levels at the correct time , if you feel you need more assurance on that.
Regarding the burning and heat, has it gotten better compared to before ??

The heat and burning was worse today. Than yesterday. It all depends on the day. I feel like if this fibro then I have goods days and bad. Today was a heat burning back day. I have cramps too as I think I am getting my period. It's been rough. I was concerned about my wbc. Can lymphoma be diagnosed in blood work? Don't know why I am concerned about this but the way I feel is scary. I am still getting dizzy spells on and off and I have been stressing big time! I don't think the stress is helping.

Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Yes, fibro is typically phasic.
There are good days and then bad days.
Why not start treatment, XXXXXXX ?
You sure are going through a lot.
Lymphoma would show up in bloodwork and imaging both, so relax.
It is NOT that.
Yes, the stress is compounding everything.
That is why I thought a Rheumatologist and a Psychologist are extremely top priority right now for you.

I also get tired a lot throughout the day. I know chronic fatigue has a lot to do with fibro .
doctor
Answered by Dr. Aarti Abraham (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
Yes, it does.

Detailed Answer:
IT has.
In fact I think the major portion of your problem has to do with fibro , hence I strongly recommend treating it first, to see how better you get.

so the feeling of heat also has to do fibro. I googled symptoms and there is a long list of things! I can read forever. ITs just scary to think that it can be something else, feeling of hard to breathe and stuff. But since you said that I would know if it was something bad, I feel better a little bit. you can see lymphoma in blood? I hear that you cant. what blood would be off for this

Brief Answer:
As below.

Detailed Answer:
Fibromyalgia has umpteen presentations, and can present as anything under the sun !
If you start getting treated, and still some symptoms persist, we might think about what it actually is.
It is like till this big cloud of fibro is lifted, nothing clear is visible.
Lymphoma would show up on imaging for sure, and you would have a swelling somewhere in the lymph nodes.
The blood work MIGHT or might not show it, it is pretty complicated, as there are various types of lymphomas.

how swollen do lymph nodes get? I heard that tender lymph nodes are also present with fibro. ugh! so worried. I don't know what to think anymore. what other symptoms would I get if it was lymphoma?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Aarti Abraham (8 hours later)
Brief Answer:
As below

Detailed Answer:
Well, lymph nodes can swell to varying sizes, and yes, even fibro can affect the nodes.
So you know that fibro is the bigger problem here, it is confusing you with all the symptoms.
Lymphoma causes painless swelling of the nodes, in fibro they would be tender.
With lymphoma, you have unexplained fatigue, chills, weight loss, loss of appetite, itching at times, or you may remain just asymptomatic.
It presents in a variety of ways, but it would be picked up by bloodwork, biopsy or imaging.
