Brief Answer:
Nothing to be concerned much.Do not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to health care magic,

I have read your query and understand the concern.

Cholesterol 218,triglycerides 213,VLDL 54 levels are slightly high (not too high) but they are not alarming that you should be worried. There is nothing concerned about it.

HDL is a GOOD cholesterol and the increased level from 30 to 41 is a good sign. However, there is not much concerned about VLDL (level increased from 35 to 54).

The probable reason for high cholesterol and triglycerides could be lack of enough muscular exercise or oily and fatty foods.

These mildly elevated cholesterol levels can be managed with regular exercises and some dietary precautions.

So,you should do regular exercises at gym or at home as per your convenience for about 30 to 45 minutes to get maximum response.

Also, to reduce your Cholesterol (Total cholesterol, triglycerides,LDL and VLDL) follow these dietary guidelines along with regular exercises.

1) Avoid direct sugars and avoid fried snacks, bakery items,

2) Take good amount of vegetable salads- raw vegetables like cucumber, tomato, carrot and vegetables which you can eat raw.

3) Snacks should contain healthy nuts like almonds or walnuts and a few dry fruits but no fruit juices,

4) Avoid soft drinks as they are only for taste having NO nutritional values.
.
5) Skimmed milk and milk items made up of skimmed milk are good to check on cholesterol,

6) Egg white is fine but avoid egg yellow means yolk.

7) Take vitamin B3 (niacin) which is believed to increase HDL cholesterol.

You can go for yearly check up of your lipid profile and there is no need to worry at present about this high cholesterol. It is not dangerous.

Hope this answer will help you.

Brief Answer:
no need of any medical intervention if you do not have symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome again,

7.4 uric acid level is considered as high but if you do not have any clinical symptoms then there is no need of any medical intervention.

TSH normal range is considered up to 5.50,so I would NOT consider 5.58 as clinically significant.

Slightly high cholesterol and triglycerides since 4 to 5 years could be hereditary or related to fatty foods but again,I would assure you that it is not dangerous.

You can go with above dietary precautions and check your lipid profile at least once in a year.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip
