My GGT level is low as is my ALP. My other liver enzymes are within the range, but on the lower side. What does that mean? Thanks. XXXXXXX

Thanks for your query.

Low levels of GGT and ALP can occur in hypothyroidism, phosphate or magnesium deficiency. They themselves perse do not cause anything. The underlying cause has to be addressed and they get corrected.
