Question: I have had first time in my life,sex with two prositutes one month back and that too protected one.with one prositute,it was unsuccessful,I had a errection for some time and because of fear,there was a drop in Errection and I did not ejected the sperm out.After some time again participated with another prositute and it was again protected one with different condom. Errection was been for a quite long time and she told me that she's feeling pain and asked me tonremove the pennies.so i did the same and she took my pennies into her hand and did masturbating,then sperm came out. After that i have removed the condom and threw it off.From the next day to till date,I have been worrying a lot and my anxiety levels have been increased like anything,thinking that i might get HIV. Daily am leaving with fear and my heart beating is high,also getting panic attacks everyday.the fear has conquered me like anything,always am getting with negative thoughts and even am not able to sleep properly.Had a HIV test after one week of the sex act,it came as negative. Out of fear,after having sex, the very next day,I have washed the pennies by applying directly dettol.

Sometimes I feel slight itching on the scalp,back,legs,thighs,hands,shoulder and also feel shivering with fast heart beating,while sleeping and also felt slight swelling near arm pit.when i have checked with the doctor,he had told me that all this happening because of over anxiety.Doctor Also gave me a sleeping tablets alprax 0.25mg for three days.daily am feeling tensed/stressed and fear.am unable to control my mind and focus on my work

Am unable to control my anxiety and always keep thinking that I might acquire HIV.

I would like to know how anxiety effects the person and what are its symptoms???

I would like to know,after how many times having sex(protected/unprotected) can occur Hiv???and also read that it is vary hard to get transmit!!! Is that true???

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. I would like to reassure you the mentioned acts would not give you HIV and so you need not worry about the same. The itch on your scalp and other areas is unrelated.

It is evident from your write up that you have anxiety. It does not need to be identified separately. You need to relax. Yoga and meditation can help. You can take some anxiolytic like alprazolam (prescription medicine) after your doctor writes it down for you.

Anxiety may present with:
Feelings of panic, fear, and uneasiness.
Problems sleeping.
Cold or sweaty hands or feet.
Shortness of breath.
Heart palpitations.
Not being able to be still and calm.
Dry mouth.
Numbness or tingling in the hands or feet.

Since you had taken protection, with intact condom the chances would simply be zero irrespective of the number of times you become intimate.

Sir I have some queries

All these days,i was leaving with fear and this itching,swollen type feeling near armpit,heat,muscles ache,had increased my fear/anxiety to further more level.when I have contacted some doctors,some of them said yes and some of them said itching and swollen type feeling is not because of anxiety,it can be some other.with this i have became totally confused.daily my doubts have increased,with this fear had increased and totally got disturbed.can you pls share your opinion on this???

The itchiness is likely to be due to a fungal infection. Apply Candid (clotrimazole) lotion topically over the affected areas. Take cetirizine or some other antiallergic tablet once daily for next few days. I hope that would provide relief.

You need not get tested as you had used protection and so, are not vulnerable. It is a different matter if you simply want to get tested for no reason. You can do that anytime. You have already done it once and got negative results. You can do it again and again as many times you like. The money is yours to spend and the peace of mind is yours to seek.

I would not go into the discussion how tough or easy it is to get HIV infection and how many encounters it takes. All I can say is that for the person who actually gets affected, its a 100% and nothing else. So, the risk is yours to take. You are free to play with it.

Yesterday day,I went to get check up for the swollen type feeling near both arm pits.so after checking it,doctor gave equiflex tablet.today again I went to the same doctor because itching was irresistible and found some red spots on hands and arms. He had seen those red spots and said that it could be a small pox. Sir,getting effected by small pox has became very rare.and am very much confused and not able to understand what to do. last week I went to the same doctor to get check up for the muscle pain and swollen type near arm pit. he had asked me to have some tests such as like smear for acid fast bacilli (AFB), HBsAg, Antibodies to HIV 1 & 2 HIVp24 Antigen (HIV tridot), Manutoux test ( Tuberculin test), Sputum culture, X-ray chest PA.As he was suspecting the tuberculosis itseems. All the tests have come negative, there are no traces of tuberculosis. Before all this test, he had asked me to take a blood test ( Fever Profile), in that, PCV Something got as negative, as I don't remember the terminology. I have asked him, why are u asking me to go for all the tests. he said that, there are chances of having tuberculosis and typhoid.so after seeing the results, he said that there is no chance of tuberculosis. but the sypmtoms which you are telling, could be because of typhoid.

he gave some antibotics for 5 days and said it will get cure.

typhoid means, should have high fever, diarrhea....but I don't have all those except muscle pain and swollen type. why doctor had asked me to go all those test which I have mentioned above (all results are negative).

one more doubt, is hiv tridot results areenough after the 6weeks of sex act??
because I got as negative...

HIV test is negative after 6 weeks and you need not worry about it any further. Does not seem to be typhoid to me. Widal test or Typhidot Antigen test can be done for confirmation.

Thanks for writing back once gain. Possibly you have a fungal infection in your armpit. Applying Candid (clotrimazole) powder should help. Keep the area clean and dry. The problem is not due to water. You can take Crocin (paracetamol) 650 mg tablet when needed for pain. Take allegra (fexofenadine) 180 mg once daily for the itchiness. Normal diet would do.

Dr had told me that Antibodies to HIV 1 & 2 HIVp24 results after 4-6 is enough because it can detect the virus very soon.For 4-6 weeks,results shows up to 98% and they are accurate.So we can come to conclusive that this 6weeks results are enough??.because I would like to end my thinking on this matter. Last time i have said that,as per doctor advice I have undergone some tests for Tuberculosis (smear for acid fast bacilli (AFB), HBsAg, Antibodies to HIV 1 & 2 HIVp24 Antigen (HIV tridot), Manutoux test ( Tuberculin test), Sputum culture, X-ray chest PA and all test results are negative)
My doubt is ,Doctor had suspected for HIV/TB coinfection,so the test conducted for hiv tridot ( antibodies to HIV 1 & 2 HIV p24 antigen,this test had been done exactly more than 6 weeks after the sexual act) is for detecting the HIV virus???. How TB and HIV is interlinked???. Because in the HIV tridot test report, the term AFB is mentioned.

Can I Rely on the HIV tridot test and come to conclusive that am safe from the hiv infection.

Pls clarify my doubt on this and your suggestions are most valuable for me...

HIV is Human Immunodeficiency Virus. Needless to say, it causes the immunity to drop. This makes you vulnerable to diseases like tuberculosis. A HIV positive patient is much more likely to suffer from tuberculosis. That was the reason for your doctor testing for both. You can rely on the HIV Tridot test.

Taken hiv test ( antibodies to hiv 1&2,hiv p24 antigen) after 6 weeks and it was negative.but now I got a one boil or lymph node under the right arm and it is pain ful. I have got checked up with the doctor,he gave tablets for pain relief and as well as antibiotic.Am very much worried because of that node under the arm.

Sir,why this swollen lymph nodes gets even after the negative test. What are the effects of lymph nodes which is caused by the local inflection. As of now,am taking tablets for it.when I have showed it to doctor,i said to him that it's heat boil. Is heat boil and lymph node are the same??. Starting it was like node and now it has been enlarged. A heat boil is a localized infection. The infection drains to the local lymph nodes through the lymphatics. As the infection gets contained by the lymph node(s), the lymph node gets inflamed and swollen. This is what you are describing. It is not a cause for concern and would gradually regress. It does not need to be due to weak immune system.
