Question: Hi, I started having the problem since 3 hrs ago, I have a feeling have to pee all the time and when I pee, i pass some jelly like clear/yellow mucus, and it really hard to pee, no pain but I have been urge to use the restroom and every time I go, I can only pee and tiny at a time , and bit of music like keep coming out when I use pressure, and my lower back feel tired just like having period, the urine just keep dripping a tiny bit every time I sit on the toilet, and when I stand up again, I feel like going

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have Acute UTI.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Did you have unprotected sex very recently?

Get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

Hi, I did have unprotected sex the last couple days or a day before, can't remember for sure. And is it OK for me to wait it out till morning to go to the clinic since I keep having the urge to go

I took 2 over the counter pill last night for the uti urgency relief... the symptom was gone around 3a.m the last time I use the restroom... I'm all back to normal now, do I still need to go to the Dr. And I drank quite a lot of coffee , pop lately, I don't know if that is the reason
