Brief Answer:
Seems like an Abscess..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your question and image attached it is clearly appearing to be a pus fill blister known as an Abscess and can be due to either tooth decay or gum infection..

So first of all please tell me that can you see any deep decay or black discolouration of the tooth over which there is abscess?
Is his gum fine or there are symptoms like gum bleeding, pain , recession of gums etc?
Also please tell his age and does he have any medical problems or is he on any medications?

Please revert back with answers..

Regards..

actually the left tooth just near to that was removed.... 2 mnths back.... he has got a cap there.... the black blister happened over that tooth 2 mnths ago which the dentist cut using scissors. now again this has happened over the neighbouring tooth but no black discolouration and tooth decay is visible.

his age is 52 and there is no gum bleeding as such...no tooth pain too...but pain in gum once touched even touching near the nose.

thanks... waiting for your response

Brief Answer:
Needs x ray of the tooth..

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome back..

As per your answers it can either be a gum abscess if there is deep infection in gums while if the tooth is delayed it can be a tooth abscess..

Many a times the tooth gets decayed on the side where it is in contact with the adjacent tooth and we cannot see the decay with naked eye..
So an x ray is a must for confirmation...

In case if tooth is decayed then Root Canal treatment of tooth can be done to resolve the problem..
It will be followed by antibiotics and painkillers..

In case if tooth is not decayed and it is due to gum infection then deep scaling and Curettage can help..

Hope this helps..

Please write back for further queries..

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Please send scan of x ray..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Please send the x ray so that I can evaluate the same and advice you accordingly..

Also please tell me that is it the same tooth over which this lump is present?
Also ask your dentist that is it possible to save the tooth by doing Root Canal Treatment..

Please send the x ray then it I can tell you that tooth can be saved or is it must to get it removed..

Please revert back..

Brief Answer:
Images are not very clear..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome back..

The images are not clear to be evaluated precisely but anyway I can see an abscess under the roots of the tooth..
So it is clear that it is infected..

But to check that it needs removal or can be saved I need clear x rays and also have to check in x rays that the bone support of the tooth is appropriate or not that is a major factor that helps in deciding that the tooth can be saved or not..

Also I would like to know that the tooth is XXXXXXX or loose or is firm?

As the tooth is not appearing to be previously Root Canal Treatment, may be an attempt can be made to save it with Root Canal Treatment..
But please send clear x rays so that I can guide you how to proceed..

However the tooth is clearly appearing infected and needs treatment..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
