Brief Answer:
Suspecting bacterial infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your query and the attached photos.

I am suspecting bacterial infection in your daughter's case.

The picture also looks like impetigo which presents with blisters which are fluid filled.

The blister could also be caused due to a shoe bite where tight shoes or sandals may rub on soft skin and cause fluid filled blisters.

I suggest you get a prescription for antibiotics like amoxycillin which can be given two times daily for 5 days and apply a local antiseptic cream over the blister.

The fluid should dry up or blister should break to disperse the fluid and the wound should heal within 2-3 days.

Avoid shoes which are tight and causing discomfort to your child.

Continue tylenol and can be given every 8 hours.

Hydrocortisone not required.

I hope I have cleared your doubts.

Please get back if any more clarifications.

Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Easily available antibiotic

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome back.

Amoxicillin is an easily available antibiotic but you will need a prescription from a doctor to get it.

If you are traveling, then the ship doctor should have some in his pharmacy stock.

Please keep the foot area clean and dry and application of a local antiseptic is a must.

I hope I have helped you with this answer.

Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing your daughter a speedy recovery,

Thanks.
