Brief Answer:
OVULATION IS UNRELIABLE, BETTER USE CONDOMS

Detailed Answer:
Hello
THanks for writing to us with your health concern.
WIth delayed cycles, ovulation can never be predicted.
In general, it occurs 14 days prior to periods.
Thus for her, counting 1st day of bleeding as day 1, the unsafe days can be anywhere from day 10 to day 22.
As you can see, this method is most unreliable if you wish to avoid a pregnancy.
It is best to continue using condoms consistently and correctly.
All the best

Brief Answer:
YES, IT IS SAFE, NOTHING IS 100 %

Detailed Answer:
Apart from avoiding sex, there is no 100 % safe way to avoid a pregnancy !
Accidents can always happen , particularly with irregular cycles.
However, generally speaking, ovulation cannot occur as early as day 5 to day 8 and as late as day 25 to day 33.
Having intercourse on these days with condoms in addition is the best you can do , no more precautions to take.
Take care.
