What Could Cause Sudden Chills And Lack Of Appetite After A Full Day's Work?
Question: My wife is 67. In the last few months, when she has worked very hard on something (not necessarily physically or outside), she has returned home and laid down on the couch. She is under some blankets and says she feels very cold. She is not interested in food. She soon goes to bed. Last night, I got into bed with her, to see if I could bring her some body warmth. Her body seemed to radiate warmth, but she still said she felt cold. I put more blankets on her and she said she was warm enough and she soon fell asleep. This morning she awoke and said she was ok. Should I get her to a doctor? Is there something I should watch for?
