Question: absolute neutrophils is at 10,000. what causes this? i also have hashimoto?

There are dozens of reasons for the absolute neutrophil count to be high as in your case. One of the commonest causes is infection. When the human body is fighting off an infection, especially a bacterial kind such as sore throat , the neutrophils rise in number in the blood.
It has no connection with your thyroid status.
It is best you discuss this in-person with your doctor who ordered the test as to further steps to address this elevated neutrophil count to make sure it is not due worrisome medical conditions.
