Brief Answer:
cause could be hard stools, XXXXXXX hemorrhoids

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.
The cause of streak of blood in stool from rectum is most commonly due to hard stools.
If you don't have constipation and no hard stool then the cause can be XXXXXXX hemorrhoids which are commonly called piles. They are in fact dilated abnormal veins.
Some patients may have such bleeding from an abnormal tissue in the rectum which is soft and friable and discharges blood timed to straining at stools, this tissue is called a polyp.
Rarely there can be serious causes underlying like carcinoma of rectum as a cause of such bleeding.
I hope the advice will be helpful for you.
