Question: Symptoms: Yellow Fluid-like stool, stomach cramps, night sweats, loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue. Other factors: I rarely drink alcohol, but I drank a lot the day before symptoms occured. Ive had these symptoms for over 2 days now, BM occur at least 6 times a day. Normal BM are every other day.

Brief Answer: Loose motions. Detailed Answer: Hello, XXXXXXX XXXXX. Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Due to alcohol intoxication or food allergy there develops increase in intestine motility . This causes loose motion ( yellow color is an indication of food poisoning or allergy). Increase in intestine motility also produces stomach cramps . Weight loss, fatigue , night sweats , loss of appetite all other symptoms are due to dehydration developed by loss of fluid due to diarrhea. Measures to be taken. Lukewarm water sip by sip mixed with salt , sugar . If feelings very tiredness get 2-3 intravenous infusion of Ringer lactate solution. As this type of diarrhea is self limiting so need not to worry.
