What Causes Wrinkly Finger Tips?

Question: All my finger pads have developed a very wrinkled look. This has been permanent over a year. I am a 70 yr old woman. What does this mean?

Cannot send pics. The wrinkles are longitudinal from tip of the nail to just below the first joint. These lines average about 5 per finger.

The causes which can result in the wrinkly fingertips are lymphedema , thyroid disorder like hypothyroidism , parasympathetic nerve disorders and connective tissue disorders like lupus; (lupus is one of many diseases of skin marked by inflammation of skin e.g lupus vulgaris lupus erythematosus )
crest or scleroderma
Candia can result in finger top atrophy and often coexist with thyroid issues
Vitamin defeciencies is possible another cause
Diabetes can too result in such type of abnormality
severe dehydration is another cause and lastly
Occupational exposure

Lyphedema can be a complication which develops after radiation if you are undergone that

Investigations including blood sugar level and thyroid function tests can be advised.
