What Causes Whitish Thread Like Vaginal Discharge Post Medical Abortion?
Question: DEAR MAM,
ON 6TH OF THIS MONTH AFTER MY GYNECOLOGIST ADVICE I HAVE GIVEN MIFEPRISTONE(200 MG OF 1 TABLET ORALLY) AND ON 8TH I HAVE GIVEN TO MY WIFE MISOPROSTOL. (200MG OF 4 TABLETS VAGINALLY) ON THIS MORNING NO BLEEDING OCCURED BUT WIFE GETTING LITTLE BIT STOMACH PAIN. THIS MORINING 9TH DEC 2014 SHE SAW SOME THREAD LIKE WHITISH WITH RED COLOR PASSING. AND THEN NO BLEEDING OCCURED. WHAT IS THIS MEANS? MY WIFE HAD LAST PERIOD ON 29TH OCT 2014. AFTER THAT ON 2ND DEC I HAVE PREGANEWS KIT AND SHOWED POSITIVE RESULT.

With your history I can understand that your wife missed her period in November and her pregnancy test is positive on 2nd December, then you consult a gynecologist and took abortion pills on 6th and 8th of December and on 9th of December she had only whitish thread like discharge no bleeding only some stomach pain. Now you want to ask what to do next.
These are my opinion in her case-
Whitish thread like discharge can be a fetus part.
Usually bleeding started in 2-3 hrs after taking mesoprostol vaginally.
In her case she is not bleeding yet and only having stomach pain so she should confer with a gynaecologist to repeat the dosage or not and get her ultrasound pelvis test done to rule out the cause. (Maybe pills are not working). Doctor may repeat the dose or may go for D&C (Dilatation and curettage).

I read that there is cotton like discharge in her urine (not from the vagina).
It can be due to yeast infection.
Is she having some itching or burning in urination?
