What Causes Whitish Discolouration In Inner Lips?
Question: Sir, The inner lips on the top portion of my mouth changed into white.I've noticed this a few days before....ie d colour change...while washing the face...I have fear that...it will spread or not?? is it curable?? please help me sir...sir u can see in d pictures...d whitish portion s moving towards the out of the mouth...please please help me

Welcome to HCM.
The whitish discolouration you have observed is suggestive of an autoimmune condition called Vitiligo, where the color imparting cells, Melanocytes are damaged rendering skin and mucosa depigmented.
Since this progressive and autoimmune condition I would insist you visit your dermatogist for expert advise.
Usually, in my patients of vitiligo over lips I advise them oral corticosteroids ( daily/ twice a week) for weeks to months depending on improvement.
Also advise oral levamizole on two consecutive days a week.
For local application initially I would suggest triamcinolone gel twice a day and tacrolimus 0.03 % at night.
Other topical medications like fibroblast growth factor lotion, pseudocatalase, pimecrolimus, calcipotriol can also be tried.

sir is it curable by 100%?? Also what is the condition of mine?? In d initial stage or in a serious stage? according to the pics

As of now I dont think you should worry ut you should definitely consult a dermatologist as it seems initial stage and thus the treatment will give good results.
