What Causes White Spots On Tongue?
Question: Hello Doc S XXXXXXX here's the picture of the white spots I have on my tounge.

I saw the picture and i want to reassure you that the tongue in that picture could be no more innocuous and healthy than humanly possible. those white spots you mention are normal papilla of the tongue and has taste buds in it. The sore throat is an inflammatory process and that engorges them and thus causing taste troubles and that look.rest assured it is nothing to worry about.
As i discussed in my answer, all you need is a good otorhinolayngologist to prescribe you with some symptomatic management and antibiotic for the sore throat and oral hygiene counseling.
This issue will resolve in a few days. Keep the diet non spicy and avoid cold and sour things as they trouble the delay in recovery.
