What Causes White Specks In Urine?

default
Posted on Fri, 3 Jul 2015
Question: There are always one or two white/clear dots in my urine, it doesn't flow, it sinks to the bottom of the toliet. Before they said urine infection and told me to take some antibiotic, 2 weeks later, I told the doctor and gave them another urine sample but in the sample there are no white dots in it, he told me "maybe" infection still there. The answer was so unsure. And I don't have pain when I go to pee or urge to pee all the time, no blood. So what's the problem?

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried about it.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed white dots in your urine .

White dots in urine are clumped epithelial cells from the lining of mucus membrane of bladder.

These epithelial cells are shed off and clumped together and form white dots(Muck). The shedding of of these epithelial cells is a normal process as response of the mechanism of the body to chronic irritation of bladder mucosa or mild inflammation.

They disappear once you take antibiotic and your infection is controlled .

Make it a habit to drink more water.

There is nothing to be worried about it.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
