Brief Answer:
leukoplakia

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You noticed recently a white patch on your tongue. This white patch appears to be something we call leukoplakia. This in most cases is just a white patch but in some cases could be a precursor to cancer. I recommend that you be seen by a medical provider preferably an ear nose and throat doctor for evaluation and possible biopsy.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any further questions

Brief Answer:
Yes it could be HIV related

Detailed Answer:
I recommend that you have this looked at by an ENT doctor before we start making any decisions or diagnosis. Trying to diagnose a lesion just by a picture is impossible.

Note: Consult an experienced Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist online for further follow up on ear, nose, and throat issues - Book a Call now.
