Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
The fact that its been there for 3 years and with no itching, soreness or pain, the condition doesn't seem to be serious. Two conditions which may cause this kind of appearance are post inflammatory hypopigmentation or vitiligo. If it is stable and not worsening since 3 years then post inflammatory hypopigmentation is first possibility. Vitiligo usually increases in size and spreads to other parts.
The condition needs to be confirmed first by consulting a dermatologist and treatment is available in the form of steroids and creams which require a doctors prescription.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
