Question: I am sure you are familiar with the term "White Coat syndrom". My wife gets anxious to the
point her blood pressure gets quite high when she visits a Dr. And if she has to wait in the office it is even worse. Any suggestions? Any over the counter medication ?

Brief Answer:
there is no need to treat white coat syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

white coat syndrome means that the 'patient' has high blood pressure readings during office visits. This is too short a time to consider for treatment. Holter monitoring for 24 hours will provide more answers regarding the need for treatment. If her blood pressure is normal during most of the day then only lifestyle changes may be recommended.

Definitely no over the counter medication for that!

I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
