What Causes White Blister In The Left Eye?
Question: I have had a blistery white of just my LEFT eye for months now. My eye doctor says he's only seen it once before and doesn't know what it is. People notice it and it bothers me. It doesn't hurt, per se, but is uncomfortable. Sometimes it does hurt like something is in there - but using lots of eye drops will eventually work to make it tolerable again.
I should note in a regular checkup this last year we found I'd lost the center vision in that LEFT eye and the doctor said the blood vessels in the back of the eye were gone, so I wouldn't get that back, but they could prevent me losing the peripheral vision that I still had.
I have regular checkups so the doctor said it was a XXXXXXX they didn't see coming. I've never been found to have any episode of high pressure. Thus he felt it was low pressure glaucoma, and did a laser treatment (100 holes to reduce pressure more). And I've been going in every month or two between that and this new event. XXXXXXX
