What Causes Weight Gain After Blood Transfusion For Anemia?

Question: i suffered from anemia and so does my mother,i got blood transfusion done twice in last 2 years and ever since iam puttting weight and unable to reduce even after trying some physical excercises is it some medical condition or i need more extensive exercising i have increased weight from 50-80 in 1.5 to 2 years

Brief Answer: Need to be investigated Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. Weight gain of around 30kgs in 2 years is serious and has to be evaluated well. You may need to get your thyroid status checked and also get the blood cholesterol estimated. Such weight gain can only be seen in medical conditions.
