What Causes Vomiting While On Sephine And Progesterone?
Question: Hi. Me and my husband are trying to conceive since six months. My LMP is 29/06/2015. I am on second cycle of sephine 100mg. In my first sephine 50mg cycle my progesterone was 18.2. Now m vomiting for almost 8 days. Any chances of pregnancy??

I can understand your concerns,
Symptoms of pregnancy like nausea, vomiting do not appear so early.it appears after 3-4weeks of fertilisation. So vomiting could be because of stomach upset or as a side effect of sephine.consult your doctor about it.
Drug dosage reduction is advisable if symptoms continue in next cycle too.
At present if you want to know about chances of pregnancy then You can confirm it by beta-hcg level testing.

Hello doc.. Thanks for your revert but I had taken sephine last month also but didn't find any symptoms like vomiting. As u said its too early for pregnancy symptoms... My expected period is on 27th July. Is it still too early to check?? How many percent chances to conceive on second cycle of sephine?

Yes, its too early to check for pregnancy. You can check for pregnancy by home pregnancy test next day after missed periods(after 27th july).
At present, blood beta HcG levels can help to check pregnancy.
Exact percentage can not be estimated.
But in my opinion, you should go for ovulation study to determine whether the drug is working for you or not.

Hello doc.. Thanks for the info. Actually I did progesterone test which shows 18.2 result. And my doc said that the medicine is working. So I just want to ask that will second cycle have chances or conceiving??
