But he is now saying that when he breaths in all of the way it kind of tingles or feels like cotton balls in his lungs.

The stool has been loose and watery after the first few hours of going. No blood or mucus in it. He didn't eat anything yesterday that I haven't eaten so I don't believe its food related. As far as the amount of times that is unknown to me as he waited to wake me up for about 6 hours after started be symptomatic. He has been keeping liquids down for about 12 hours. He had 2 hours of sleep before he awoke with the symptoms. He hasn't vomited in about 10 hours. he hasn't been eating anything other then what I put in my first question in 27 hours. He is tired and has been sleeping on and off for about the last 9 hours waking to either drink or use the restroom. this morning I gave him some bismal tablets but he vomited those up shortly after. My concern is that fact that his lungs are feeling strange but I believe that is from dry heaving a number of times after the symptoms started. He is keeping down about 2 liters of ginger ale and 40oz of water and about 3oz if Gatorade.

Brief Answer:
Most probably lung symptoms are due to dehydration & loose motions.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for the answers. I'v gone through them. He most probably is suffering from viral Enteritis. In viral infection, virus takes its time to resolve. Meanwhile symptomatic care is taken. His lung symptoms are because of dehydration and recurrent loose motions.
IF he is able to drink adequately then i would recommend you following things:

- Give him Pedialyte (ORS- oral rehydration salt) as many times as he wants. Specially after every stool he passes.
- Give lots of fluids( water, juices)
- Zinc supplements once a day for 10 days.
- Take ecobion sachets once a day
- Prefer to give home-made food only.

AVOID:
- Fatty/oily food.
- Sugar & sugar related products
-

Visit hospital if:
- He becomes unconscious
- he does not drink or eat anything at all.
- Frequency of loose stool increases.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
