Hi,

Thanks for your question on HealthcareMagic,

I do understand your pain and discomfort.

As per your history, you have taken 2 doses of medications so there is no chance of conception at all. So nothing to be worried about it.

The most common side effects which we encounter in our day to day practice is, Menstrual irregularities, nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, breast discomfort, enlarged breasts, depression, skin disorders, disturbance of appetite, weight changes, fluid retention, Edema, changes in libido, cholestatic jaundice, hair loss or hirsutism etc.

So, it is the side effect of drugs only and it differs from person to person only.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for your follow up question on HCM

As per your question is concerned it is the side effect of medications and it varies form person to person. “As” soon as you got periods everything will be balanced. You can do few things at home-:

1)You can take a non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs like [IBUPROFEN] for which no prescription needed for pelvic pain and cramps.

2)Eat smaller.more frequent meals to reduce bloating and the sensation of fullness of abdomen and limit salt and salty foods.

3)Choose foods high in complex carbohydrates, such as fruits vegetables and whole grains.

4)Avoid tea and coffee and take a multivitamin with calcium every day at bedtime

5)Engage in at least 30 minutes of brisk walking, cycling, swimming or other aerobic activity every day.

6)Get plenty of sleep to reduce stress.

Hope that helps
