What Causes Vomiting After Eating Popcorn?

Question: My 8 year old son has had chronic constipation for the last three years. Been hospitalized several times with NG tube. But question today is I have noticed a pattern we don't eat popcorn much unless going to movies over the last 6 months we have seen three movies and he had popcorn each time and the very next morning he wakes up shortly after and is throwing up.
