Question: I tested positive for verrucous psoriasis. I read that this is very rare. Is it? Could this be indicative of something else? Why would i have something so rare?

Brief Answer:
Verrucous psoriasis is a rare but is not something serious

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
Yes verrucous psoriasis is a rare variety of psoriasis but it is not something serious.
It won't have any special health implications for the person suffering from psoriasis.
It is just another subtype of psoriasis and anyone can develop it though it's occurence is rare.
There is no specific reason for its occurence in any person.
You don't have to worry too much about it.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
