Brief Answer:
Regarding prominent hand veins

Detailed Answer:
Thank you.

These veins are situated in adipose tissue layer beneath the skin. They may look prominent in some individuals, specially in thin individuals, because of a thin adipose tissue layer in which they are situated. This appearance is within limits of normalcy and there is nothing abnormal about it.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care,
Dr. Kakkar S
