Question: Hello, I am on my period, and a large tube like piece of tissue/ flesh just came out of my vagina, of course concerned, can anyone offer some advice?

Hi and welcome to HCM.
There are several possible causes. In every case, gynaecologist consult is required.
First, if there was possibility of pregnancy then abnormal pregnancy may be considered. it may not be just embryo,but also, incapsulated hematoma or incapsulated egg or part of endometrium. Probably this is just mix of endometrium and hematoma and it may look to you like tissue.
In most cases this is not worrying but see gynaecologsit to check hormonal levels and examine uterus since part of this may stay inside uterus and then it should be removed by curretage.
