Brief Answer:
Imaging studies are needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Imaging studies such brain MRI are indicated whenever there's change in pain nature of migraines sufferers.

Conditions such subarachnoidal hemorrhage, vascular malformations, etc, is necessary to be considered and excluded.

Discuss with your daughter's Doctor about such issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Kind regards.

I had an MRI of my hip and chondromalacia was seen. I am a runner and but have lateral hip pain mostly at rest.
