What Causes Unexplained Bruising Behind The Knee?
Question: I have get brusising behind my left knee. I'm 69 and subject to bruising on my forearms. I also cross my legs while sitting. I am not on blood thinners. Not pain.

This is just broken varicose vein and this is nothing to worry about. You should apply cold compresses, heparin gel and put elastic stocking from ankle till upper leg. Hematoma should pull back within 2 weeks. If not, you should see a hematologist to check your coagulation profile.
