Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Your description of twinges is not usual and also not diagnostic of any particular condition. Sometimes allergic reaction can cause such sensation but such reactions are usually shortlived. Also irritation of bowel can cause such symptoms.

Since you said you have family history of ovarian cancer it is better you get screened for malignancy periodically. Unfortunately we don't have strict ovarian cancer screening guidelines. Trans vaginal ultrasound and CA125 levels are done when in suspicion.

Other cancers which can be screened are cervical cancer by PAP smear test, breast cancer screening by breast self examination and mammography and colon cancer screening in high risk individuals by periodic colonoscopy.

So instead of worrying, you would be relieved of tension if you get ultrasound and CA 125 done.
Take care
