What Causes Tooth Senstivity After Drinking Water?

Question: One of my lower jaw tooth is having senstaion while I drink water. The pain is not so much but it feels uneasiness. Please suggest me what can be done.

I have gone through your query, dont worry XXXX see what happend is sensation happens when Upper layer of tooth that is Enamel is abraded and Dentin that is second layer of tooth is exposed . I understand your concern XXXX sensation can be due to exposure of Dentin or this can be due to Carious tooth or due to improper brushing technique. What I will suggest you do is firstly use Soft Bristle brush. - Do toothpaste like Sensodyne or Senstivity pro releif paste for one week. - You can apply Senstivity gel also like Sensigel on that tooth. - Do XXXXXXX warm salt gargle two - three times a day. Thanks a lot for your quick response. If I press that tooh it has mild pain, I use "Emoform" toothpast for brushing. Will it work or should I change.

Brief Answer: You can use Emoform R toothpaste . Detailed Answer: Hello XXXX Thanks for consulting Healthcare magic again. As you have mentioned that there is mild pain on pressing tooth , see this mild pain can be due to senstivity or due to carious tooth also . What I will suggest you is you do Emoform R toothpaste that is for senstivity for one week. If you wont get relief after one week then consult dentist and go for Intra oral periapical radiograph (IOPA) X-Ray of that tooth. If tooth is carious then discuss with your dentist that it can be Restored or Root canal treatment is to be done. Hope I answered your query. If you have futher query , I will be happy to help.
